NCRTM Team Meeting 06-02-08

Gail
| • | Reminder that newsletter due July 1st. Call for contributions -- Mike will be writing a couple of articles and Kristi wants to write a paragraph on curriculum. |
| • | Will be training Jennifer on new cataloging this afternoon. |
| • | Have been working on Conference videos and PowerPoints for EUs. Have completed one -- Barros-Bailey, ARCA 2007. |
| • | For most of June will be working on newsletter and new acquisitions. |
Jennifer
| • | Questions on old files that were sent from Oklahoma but have not been dealt with yet. Discussed what to do with them. Decided to go through them at a later time. |
| • | Sexual Harassment Training -- Jennifer, Cassie, and Ken need to attend. |
| • | Microfische -- Found new machine that can be connected to computer to digitize microfische. Estimated cost would be $2,000 to $2,500. Discussed whether we should invest. Cassie suggested we looked at the microfische to determine whether or not the information has already be digitized and cataloged from some other format. Will focus on this at a later date. |
| • | Will be writing down explanations for various aspects of her job. |
Cassie
| • | Working on slides right now. |
| • | Also working on writing down explanations for cataloging. |
Kristi
| • | Working on curriculum collection. |
| • | Still fixing links that we lost when server went down. |
Mike
| • | Worked on Substance Abuse Conference video/powerpoint EU. |
| • | Completed Annual Report and sent in on Friday, May 30th. |
| • | In process of re-tooling Clearinghouse computer/server infrastructure as part of transition to USU management. |
| • | $120,000/year RSA money will be provided for hiring IT person to work on EUs. |
| • | Will be presenting at NRCA conference in October. |
| • | Will be visiting ICI in Boston in July. |
