NCRTM Team Meeting, 02-12-07
Mike
| • | NCRE and CANAR preparations |
| o | IN Portal content will be finished today. |
| o | AT Portal – worked with Sachin last week and Portal is almost ready. |
| o | Open house – need to make notes. |
| o | Recruitment Portal – need to post some stuff on this. |
| • | Problems with website (Moodle problems?) |
| o | Have to log in twice now – Gail has same problem, but no one else has this problem. |
| o | Ken said we need to ensure that all links go to ncrtm.org and not the old address. This should simplify problems. |
| o | Asked everyone to go through the site on their computers and trouble-shoot. |
| • | Internet hook up at the NCRE conference is $500. We are not going to purchase one and will create visuals instead – will do screen captures from AT Portal. |
| o | Julie suggested we do screen captures in Help & Manual and print out on color printer upstairs. |
| o | Julie will also call hotel and find out if we will have a WiFi hookup for the booth. |
| o | Ken said we could do use Camptasia feature “Snagit.” |
| • | Accessible formats for conference – Mike will find out exactly what the conference requirements are. May have Braille copies made of the brochure. Will also provide our materials on disc (will take 10 discs). Need to find out if we must provide large-print hard copies. |
| • | After conference we will review job descriptions – define time allotments for individual jobs. |
Gail
| • | Finished keys for Eligibility chapter of USOR manual for use at the Idaho conference. Will discuss next step with Ken and Mike after the NCRE Conference. |
Ken suggested more keys be created from other sections of the manual.
Ken said we may want to create attributes for some elements of the keys.
| • | Recruitment – Bryce working with Mike – will get together after NCRE conference. |
| • | Reminder that next newsletter due April 1st. Think about content. |
Jared
| • | Met with Idaho last week in a supervisory training – Great group. They are discussing recruitment. Jared wants to share Dick Baer’s project of working with high school students on disability awareness – perhaps explore marketing/outreach in the high schools in Idaho. |
| • | Western Oregon University – Latino Conference this week. Will record 2 days of training. Need to think about including in the NCRTM Continuing Education archive. Other RRCEPs would be interested in it. It could be a model and if others follow, could set up online classes with certain criteria of responsibilities (for example, requiring users to provide transcripts and accessible format material). |
| • | Writing piece with Mike for Journal of Rehabilitation Administration. Mike will address the NCRTM training opportunities and philosophy. Jared will address models of professional development and implementation in the work place. |
Julie
| • | Progress made on Help & Manual file for how to use digital library. Also working on a price list. Asked Gail to look it over. |
| • | Questions on how items are organized for our web page. Needs further discussion. Ken informed left side/right side addresses: Left side address (example - library/ncrtm.org) is a Karl responsibility; Right side address (example – ncrtm.org/library) is our responsibility. |
| • | Requested copy of Domain keys from Gail. |
Tyler
| • | Security Certificates are now up. Quizzes set up a little different than they were. Will show Mike how to create a quiz in the tables setup. |

| • | Will call Renee with list of participants for presentation at the conference. |
| • | Working on Issue tracker. |
